The coastline of Benissa is 4km long and nestled between Moraira and Calpe. There are various beaches, coves and cliffs. La Fustera is the number one beach of Benissa. During the year many activities take place. In January is the “Fira I Porrat de Sant Antonti”. More than 2 weeks of activities for the whole family. With animal blessing, a fairground, medieval market, devil fire dances and much more.
In April is the “Fiesta of Purissima Xiqueta”, the patron saint of Benissa. Processions, crowning of the Queen of the fiesta, music and bull running.
The famous “Moors and Christians” celebration takes place in June. A colourful event with parades and more.
In October is the Multicultural Festival. Different nationalities present their products, food, dances etcetera.
